Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to Legacy Careers LLC. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all services, programs, tools, products, and platforms offered by Legacy Careers LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including resume development, coaching, job search assistance, employer outplacement, HR consulting, affiliate partnerships, digital products, and other related offerings (collectively, the “Services”).
By purchasing, accessing, or using any of our Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Services.
1. Scope of Services
Legacy Careers LLC provides consumer and enterprise-level services, including:
- Resume writing and optimization
- LinkedIn branding
- Career coaching and interview preparation
- Outplacement and HR consulting support for corporate clients
- Affiliate and influencer referral programs
- Job search strategy and curated leads
- Digital tools, courses, and downloadable resources
All Services are provided as guidance, support, and strategy — not guarantees of employment, income, or job interviews, except for the limited service guarantees expressly described in Section 2A below.
2. No Guarantee of Job Placement or Business Outcomes
By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree:
- We do not guarantee employment, promotions, business revenue, or interview outcomes.
- Any testimonials, affiliate earnings, or success stories are illustrative only and are not a promise of results.
- Final outcomes depend on your effort, qualifications, audience, market conditions, and third-party factors.
2A. Limited Service Guarantees (Specific Packages Only)
We offer the following limited guarantees, which are service-only remedies (no refunds or cash equivalents):
(i) 60-Day Interview Guarantee (Interview Accelerator & Executive Legacy Program).
If you purchase the Interview Accelerator or the Executive Legacy Program and do not receive any first-round interview invitations within 60 calendar days from the date we deliver your completed materials, you may claim the applicable remedy below, subject to Eligibility, Documentation, and Exclusions in this Section.
- Definition (Interview). A “first-round interview” means a scheduled live conversation (phone or video) with a recruiter, hiring manager, or HR representative employed by (or formally representing) the prospective employer. Automated assessments, generic recruiter outreach without a scheduled interview, and networking conversations not tied to an open role are not interviews.
- Remedy. Your sole and exclusive remedy is one (1) free resume rewrite (see Section 2A(iii)).
(ii) 30-Day Unlimited Edits (Resume Services).
For all resume packages that state “Unlimited edits for 30 days,” we will make unlimited reasonable content and formatting revisions to the delivered resume for 30 calendar days after first delivery.
— “Revisions” mean clarifications, rewording, re-ordering, keyword adjustments, and design refinements.
— Exclusions: net-new career pivots introduced after delivery; additional role-specific versions beyond the agreed scope; contradictory or unverifiable claims; changes requested after the 30-day window.
(iii) One Free Resume Rewrite — Eligibility & Process.
If you (a) purchased Interview Accelerator or Executive Legacy Program, (b) received zero first-round interview invitations within 60 days of delivery, and (c) meet the conditions below, you are eligible for one (1) free resume rewrite.
- Application Threshold: You must have applied to at least 25 roles within 60 days from the delivery date of your materials.
- Relevance: Roles must be materially aligned to the agreed target role(s), level, function, and geography set during our intake (reasonable variance allowed).
- Implementation: You must have used the materials and guidance we provided, including the resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn updates.
- Engagement: You must respond to our communications in a timely manner and provide requested information to support the rewrite.
(iv) Documentation Required to Claim Remedy.
To claim the free resume rewrite, submit within 10 days after the 60-day window:
- A dated application log of at least 25 applications (ATS screenshots, confirmation emails, or CRM export accepted) showing role titles, companies, dates, and links.
- LinkedIn profile URL reflecting our delivered updates during the 60-day period (profile must have been public or recruiter-visible).
- The resume and cover letter we delivered and used in those applications.
- Any recruiter email evidence that an outreach was not a scheduled interview (if applicable).
(v) Exclusions.
The guarantee does not apply where any of the following occurs:
- Applications predominantly to roles for which you do not meet minimum basic requirements (e.g., mandatory licensure, citizenship, years-of-experience).
- Roles that are substantially outside the agreed target role(s)/level/industry/geography.
- Hiring freezes, mass layoffs, role cancellations, or employer-side process changes beyond your control.
- You materially alter the resume or LinkedIn content we delivered, or use a different resume for the majority of applications.
- Failure to submit complete Documentation by the deadline in 2A(iv).
- Misrepresentation of application activity or background.
(vi) Sole and Exclusive Remedy; No Refunds.
The one free resume rewrite is your sole and exclusive remedy for the 60-Day Interview Guarantee. No refunds, chargebacks, credits, or cash alternatives are available. We may request a brief call or intake form to recalibrate positioning prior to the rewrite. The rewrite does not extend the original 60-day guarantee window.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old or have the express consent of a legal guardian to use our Services.
- If you represent a business or organization, you affirm that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.
4. Payments, Billing, and Refund Policy
Individual Clients
- Full payment is due at the time of purchase.
- We accept major credit/debit cards, Klarna, Afterpay, and other accepted payment methods.
Business Clients
- Approved corporate partners may request invoicing on a Net 15 or Net 30 basis, subject to written agreement.
Refunds
- Due to the custom, digital, and consultative nature of our Services, all sales are final and non-refundable once work has begun or materials have been delivered.
- Refunds are not issued for client delays, inaction, or change of mind.
- Guarantee Remedies: Any guarantee remedy described in Section 2A is a service-only remedy and does not entitle you to any refund, credit, or cash equivalent.
- Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback after accepting Services or deliverables constitutes a breach of these Terms. We may provide processors with evidence of delivery, approvals, and communications.
Expedited Services
- If you purchase expedited delivery, you waive any right to cancellation or delay once production begins.
5. Client Responsibilities
All clients agree to:
- Provide accurate, timely, and complete information when requested.
- Use the Services only for lawful and ethical purposes.
- Refrain from distributing, duplicating, or misrepresenting our materials or brand.
- Respond to drafts and requests for information within reasonable timeframes.
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delayed service, suspension, or termination without refund.
6. Outplacement & HR Consulting Terms (for Employers)
Corporate clients engaging Legacy Careers LLC for outplacement or HR consulting agree to:
- Clearly identify impacted employees and provide authorized contact info.
- Use all coaching, reporting, and deliverables solely for internal HR and transition purposes.
- Acknowledge that reemployment, legal compliance, and HR outcomes are not guaranteed.
- Remain solely responsible for compliance with employment laws, HR practices, and termination decisions.
- Pay all agreed-upon service fees regardless of individual employee participation.
Important: Legacy Careers LLC does not act as an employer, recruiter, placement agency, or legal/tax advisor. Our role is advisory only.
7. Affiliate & Influencer Program Terms
By applying to or participating in the Legacy Careers Affiliate or Creator Program, you agree:
- Affiliates act as independent contractors, not employees, partners, or representatives of Legacy Careers LLC.
- Affiliates may not register or use Legacy Careers’ name, trademarks, or similar domains, run paid ads on brand keywords, or misrepresent themselves as Legacy Careers.
- Affiliate commissions are calculated on net eligible sales only. Orders that are refunded, canceled, fraudulent, or charged back are excluded from payouts.
- Commissions are tracked via unique coupon codes or referral links, and payouts are made monthly or upon reaching a threshold.
- Legacy Careers reserves the right to withhold, adjust, or audit payouts in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or misrepresentation.
- Affiliates are responsible for complying with all FTC disclosure rules and applicable advertising laws.
8. Intellectual Property
All templates, resumes, training materials, scripts, videos, graphics, software, and other deliverables remain the sole intellectual property of Legacy Careers LLC.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use delivered materials for your own personal job search or internal HR use.
You may not copy, sell, share, or reuse any Legacy Careers materials for commercial or public purposes without written consent.
9. Confidentiality & Data Use
All client and business data shared with us is treated as confidential.
We may use anonymized and aggregated data for:
- Service optimization
- Internal business reporting
- Market research
Compliance Notice: If you are subject to GDPR, CCPA, or similar data protection laws, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us at info@legacycareersllc.com.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Careers LLC will not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of job opportunities, income, or business revenue
- Employer hiring decisions or HR outcomes
- Technical disruptions beyond our control
Our maximum liability is limited to the total fees paid by you for the specific Service in question.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legacy Careers LLC, its officers, contractors, affiliates, and employees from any claims, losses, liabilities, or legal expenses arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Services
- Breach of these Terms
- Misrepresentation of provided materials
- Affiliate or partner marketing activities conducted under your control
12. Force Majeure
Legacy Careers LLC will not be liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, labor disputes, strikes, pandemics, or governmental actions.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services to any client, affiliate, or business partner who:
- Violates these Terms
- Harasses or abuses team members
- Shares false information
- Engages in unethical behavior, fraud, or misconduct
No refunds will be issued in the case of termination for cause.
14. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
All disputes must be submitted to confidential binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
Class action lawsuits are not permitted.
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
16. Modifications
We may update these Terms periodically without prior notice. The latest version will always be posted on our website. Your continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
