Legacy Careers LLC – Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to Legacy Careers LLC. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all services, programs, tools, products, and platforms offered by Legacy Careers LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including resume development, coaching, job search assistance, employer outplacement, digital products, and other related offerings (collectively, the “Services”).
By purchasing, accessing, or using any of our Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Services.
1. Scope of Services
Legacy Careers LLC provides both consumer and enterprise-level career services, including:
- Resume writing and optimization
- LinkedIn branding
- Career coaching and interview preparation
- Outplacement support for corporate clients
- Job search strategy and curated leads
- Digital tools, courses, and downloadable resources
All services are provided as guidance, support, and strategy — not guarantees of employment, income, or job interviews.
2. No Guarantee of Job Placement
By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree:
- We do not guarantee employment, promotions, or interview outcomes.
- Any testimonials or success stories are illustrative only and are not a promise of results.
- Final job outcomes depend on your experience, performance, effort, and market conditions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the express consent of a legal guardian to use our Services.
If you represent a business or organization, you affirm that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.
4. Payments, Billing, and Refund Policy
Individual Clients:
Full payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept major credit/debit cards, Klarna, Afterpay, and other accepted payment methods.
Business Clients:
Approved corporate partners may request invoicing on a Net 15 or Net 30 basis, subject to our approval and agreement.
Refunds:
Due to the custom, digital, and consultative nature of our Services, all sales are final and non-refundable once work has begun or materials have been delivered. Refunds are not issued for client delays or inaction.
Expedited Services:
If you purchase expedited delivery, you waive any right to cancellation or delay once production begins.
5. Client Responsibilities
All clients — individual or corporate — agree to:
- Provide accurate, timely, and complete information when requested.
- Use the Services only for lawful and ethical purposes.
- Refrain from distributing, duplicating, or misrepresenting our materials or brand.
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delayed service or suspension without refund.
6. Outplacement Program Terms (for Employers)
Corporate clients engaging Legacy Careers LLC for outplacement services agree to:
- Clearly identify impacted employees and provide authorized contact info.
- Use all coaching, reporting, and deliverables solely for internal HR and transition use.
- Acknowledge that outcomes (such as reemployment) are not guaranteed for displaced employees.
- Pay all agreed-upon service fees regardless of individual employee participation.
Legacy Careers does not serve as an employer, recruiter, or placement agency. Outplacement support is advisory in nature.
7. Intellectual Property
All templates, resumes, training materials, scripts, videos, graphics, and other deliverables remain the sole intellectual property of Legacy Careers LLC.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use delivered materials for your own personal job search or internal HR use (for employers).
You may not copy, sell, share, or reuse any Legacy Careers materials for commercial or public purposes without written consent.
8. Confidentiality & Data Use
All client and business data shared with us is treated as confidential. We do not sell or disclose personal or business information without consent, unless legally required.
We reserve the right to anonymize and use client data for:
- Service optimization
- Internal business reporting
- Aggregated insights or research
We follow industry best practices for data storage and access.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Careers LLC will not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of job opportunity or income
- Employer hiring decisions
- Technical disruptions beyond our control
Our maximum liability is limited to the total fees paid by you for the specific Service in question.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legacy Careers LLC, its officers, contractors, affiliates, and employees from any claims, losses, liabilities, or legal expenses arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Services
- Breach of these Terms
- Misrepresentation of provided materials
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate Services to any user who:
- Violates these Terms
- Harasses or abuses team members
- Shares false information
- Engages in unethical behavior or misconduct
No refunds will be issued in the case of termination for cause.
12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
All disputes must be submitted to confidential binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Class action lawsuits are not permitted.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
14. Modifications
We may update these Terms periodically without prior notice. The latest version will always be posted on our website. Your continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
